Madeira Beach Yoga offers three unique settings to indulge in your practice. Experience one, or explore them all, in the studio, on the patio or on the white sandy beach of Archibald Park.

Let us show you how fun and enjoyable yoga can be. Our instructors began to explore yoga for their own personal and varied reasons, which helped prepare them to make you feel even more welcome and successful in your practice. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, we will help you find your place on the mat.

Lauri Green

Lauri Green received her 200 RYT yoga training at St. Petersburg Yoga, in St. Petersburg, FL. Lauri also teaches Zumba (latin dance fitness). She has three wonderful daughters and works with her husband in their Guatemalan importing business, which they started over 20 years ago.

Lauri has always loved dance and exercise and came to yoga with injuries from physical overuse. Through her training she learned the fundamentals of yoga;  stillness, breath, observation of the body and mind, balancing actions, and honoring your edge. Lauri looks forward to sharing with you what her teachers have taught her, finding balance in your yoga practice and taking what you learn on the mat, out into other aspects of your life.

Dina Villalba-Sanchez

Having earned her 200hr RYT, Dina brings both expert skills and a passion for teaching to her classes.  She loves yoga and enjoys other fascinating hobbies including travel, cooking, reading, hiking, running, and going to the beach! You will often see Dina teaching beach yoga classes, where she marries these two joys. She loves to teach vinyasa flow, yin yoga, slow power flow, hot yoga, and meditations.

Dina is always trying to learn more and deepen her own practice as well as her teaching expertise. She loves petting dogs and drinking coffee at farmers markets!

Erika believes in the power of yoga to bring peace and happiness to the world, by starting with each and every person who steps foot on a yoga mat.  She uses the physical yoga practice, not only to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility of the body, but as a tool to calm the mind and help individuals discover their inner light.  Erika received her 200-hour Vinyasa yoga certification from Tiffany Cruikshank in Portland, Oregon and  is pursuing her 500-hour training under the guidance of Raj Patra and Kelly Suttell at Hot Yoga for Life.  Erika recently left her full time job in Public Health to pursue life as a yoga teacher and couldn't be happier to be part of the Madeira Beach Yoga community.  Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu - May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom for all!  Erika looks forward to sharing in your yoga journey!

Susan Meyers

Susan completed her 500 RYT in 2015 at Yoga Etc. studio in Florida. She is experienced in teaching Yin, Restore/Relax, Chair Yoga, Meditation, Gentle Flow and Breath centered classes. Dedicated to the study and practice of pranayama, meditation, asana, philosophy, chant and sharing her education and experience with her students.
Her practice began over four decades ago when she participated in her first yoga session and knew she had "found herself at home."

Susan's personal practice is multi-dimensional with much focus on breath with movement, study of self and others, chant and kirtan experiences, and integration of all the eight limbs of yoga. As she better learns to teach she realizes that she is also teaching to learn, her students are her best teachers.

Class participants find a sense of calm and clarity, inspired to take their yoga off the mat and into life's daily challenges and joys.

Teresa began her Yoga journey in 2001 when she was first introduced to the Bikram practice. She slowly started to incorporate yoga into her practice both on and off the mat. Seeing the negative effects of stress on her own body she has found the strength connection and healing power where all intersects body, mind and spirit. Teresa’s commitment, devotion and love for yoga culminated in her 200 Yoga certification in 2013. She knew a few months after teaching yoga; it’s her life’s passion and calling. This is where her next chapter began with co-founding Madeira Beach Yoga. She also volunteers her yoga practice to help injured Veterans with The Exhalted Warriors Foundation at Yogani Studio in Tampa, Florida.

Like many, Sherry always felt too intimidated to walk into a Yoga studio and unroll a mat. She was curious and wanted to try, but felt too afraid to do so. She worried she wasn’t mindful enough or flexible enough to participate. She began to take classes right here with Madeira Beach Yoga and quickly learned that those notions were not at all true. Astonished by how welcoming Yoga can be and the extraordinary benefits it can provide, she knew that sharing Yoga and its unlimited potential for happiness and growth would now be her professional focus. Sherry completed her 200 hour certification at Balance Yoga Therapy and additional training through YogaFit Seniors. Most recently, she developed a Children's Yoga curriculum and spent time volunteer teaching at a local domestic violence shelter. Sherry creates inviting and inclusive classes for both experienced Yogis and those who are Yoga curious. She is passionate about sharing the healing benefits of Yoga with anyone who will listen and strives to provide the kind of classes that make everyone feel welcome.

Angela Moscaritolo is a Yoga teacher and writer who completed her 200-hour training in New York City under the guidance of Anne-Margaret Redding-Wood at The Giving Tree Yoga Studio. She teaches a dynamic Vinyasa Flow-style class with creative sequencing that integrates meditation, breathing techniques, and a variety of poses to strengthen and lengthen the entire body and achieve a more peaceful mind. With a focus on alignment, she breaks down poses, teaching students of all levels how to build the asana step-by-step. She believes that that the transitions between poses are just as important (and fun!) as the poses themselves.
