Senior Sea Turtle Nesting Biologist, Lindsey Flynn, from the Clearwater Marine Aquarium joined us for yoga and shared a presentation about sea turtles along our beaches. She is a member of the “Turtle Team” who comb the beaches daily May-October to ensure the safety of the turtles and their hatchlings.
Did you know? Since 2005, CMA has protected and released more than 60,000 hatchlings into the Gulf of Mexico.
